Grand Prairie, AB
Weyerhaeuser’s Grande Prairie mill is in the Peace Region of northern Alberta, Canada and is surrounded by boreal and sub-alpine forests. The bleached northern kraft pulp produced at Grande Prairie consists of strong, flexible fibres from softwood species, particularly spruce and pine. This product is valued by papermakers around the world for its uniformity and ability to deliver high tensile strength at reduced refining requirements.
